Privacy Policy Bit4Care App
INTRODUCTION
ADiTech S.r.l. provides "Bit4Care App" (hereinafter simply referred as "App") as a tool for storing, viewing, and exporting the vital parameters acquired via the ADiBox/ADiEmo multi-parameter devices, Vitalograph Lung Monitor 4000 and ADiSteth digital stethoscope, available for Doctor App mode only.
The App is designed, developed, and distributed by ADiTech S.r.l. with headquarters in Via G. Valenti n. 2, 60131 – Ancona – Italy.
PROCESSED DATA AND PURPOSE OF THE TREATMENT
The personal data processed by the App are those of the duly registered user (name, surname, gender, height, and weight) and the purpose of the data gathering is for self-measurement of the user's vital parameters.
Data acquisition is carried out via connection in BluetoothLE mode.
The vital signs acquired through the ADiBox multiparameter device are:
- Heart rate
- Breath frequency
- Temperature
- Blood pressure
- Oxygen saturation
- Single-lead electrocardiogram
The vital signs acquired through the ADiEmo multiparameter device are:
- Blood Glucose
- Hemoglobin
- Total Cholesterol
- Triglycerides
- Ketone
- Uric Acid
- Lactate
The vital signs acquired through the Vitalograph Lung Monitor 4000 device are:
- FEV1
- FEV6
- FEV1/FEV6
- FEF-2575
- PEF
The digital stethoscope ADiSteth allows to gather heart and lung auscultation data.
ADiTech S.r.l. does not in any way use the collected data by the App for the purpose of user profiling, for the offer of products and services other than the specific ones provided by the App or for other commercial purposes. Therefore, no use of cookies, technical or not, is envisaged. We inform you, however, that the computer systems and software procedures of third parties responsible for the correct operational of the App (e.g. Apple Store, Google Play) may acquire, in providing their services, some data in any case referable to the user whose transmission is implicit in the use of internet communication protocols, smartphones and devices used.
ADiTech S.r.l. is not involved, nor can it be considered responsible, in the treatments, carried out independently and exclusively by the respective owners. Therefore, we invite you to consult in advance the privacy policies published on the mentioned platforms.
To allow the use of the App, the user must make available some resources of its mobile device to the App itself, such as:
- Bluetooth: to allow the acquisition of vital parameters from the medical device
- Location (GPS): to allow connection to the medical device via BluetoothLE
- Network: to allow verification of the requirements of the medical device
METHOD OF TREATMENT
Personal data are processed for aims strictly related to the aforementioned purposes, kept only for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and adopting specific security measures aimed at preventing the loss of data, illicit or incorrect use and non-authorized access. No personal data acquired through the App is disclosed to unauthorized third parties.
PLACE OF TREATMENT
The collected data are processed directly within the mobile device on which the App is installed and are not sent to any remote data center but can be made available to third parties by the owner of the data through other ADiTech S.r.l. non-proprietary applications.
In this sense, the responsibility for data processing lies exclusively with the user of the mobile device on which the App is installed.
DATA MANAGEMENT
The Family and Doctor App versions allow the creation of multiple user profiles (registrations) at the same time, on the other hand, the Community App version allows the creation of a single profile which is automatically deleted when the App is closed.
The deletion of the registered user profile causes the consequent deletion of all the measurements/sessions associated with the user profile itself, making the data irrecoverable.
At any time, the registered user has the ability to delete the measurements/sessions stored individually.
The App allows the export of data (measurements/sessions) in PDF format for subsequent printing or sharing.
The generated file is stored in the download folder of the mobile device. For user privacy issues, in the Community version, the exported measurements are automatically deleted when the PDF file is generated and the files themselves are automatically deleted when the App is closed.
DEVICES MANAGEMENT
Communication between ADiBox/ADiSteth/ADiEmo device and the App must be enabled by ADiTech S.r.l.
