The most complete definition of the term “Telemedicine” that has been agreed from the CEE , (Advanced Informatics in Medicine - AIM 1990) literally says: "With the term Telemedicine we mean integration, monitoring and patients management, as well as education and training of patients and of care givers,, by using systems that allow a rapid access to experts consultancy and to patient information, wherever he is or wherever his information are stored.”
